The P525L reads an RFID chip embedded in each HiTi media roll to identify paper type and size automatically. When your included 1,000-print kit runs out, reorder genuine HiTi P520L/P525L media — non-RFID or third-party media will not be recognized by the printer.
HiTi P525L Overview
The P525L is HiTi's current-generation compact dye-sublimation printer, built for photo booth operators, on-site event photographers, and small studios. It uses HiTi's D2T2 print engine to produce continuous-tone, 300 dpi output with a glossy or matte finish selectable from the same roll of media — no separate stock needed for each finish.
An optional Wi-Fi dongle (sold separately, not included in this bundle) adds wireless printing from a computer or the HiTi Prinbiz mobile app for iOS and Android. Out of the box, the printer connects via USB 2.0 to Windows or macOS.
