Storage and handling
Dye-sublimation media performs best when it is stored and handled correctly. To protect color accuracy and feeding reliability, store unopened rolls in a cool, dry place — ideally below about 77°F (25°C) and 40–60% relative humidity — away from direct sunlight and dust. Keep rolls in their packaging until you are ready to load them, handle paper by the edges to avoid fingerprints on the print surface, and let media reach room temperature before use if it has been stored somewhere cold. Loading the paper and its matched ribbon together, as supplied, keeps color and coverage consistent across the full 1,000-print case.
