HiTi S420 / S400 4x6 Individual Print Pack — Genuine OEM Paper & Ribbon (50 Prints) is a single pack of HiTi's dye-sublimation consumable for HiTi's S-series ID and passport photo printers.
This single pack is a good fit for lower-volume printing or for testing genuine HiTi media before committing to a full case. If you print regularly, the 12-pack case (600 prints) works out to a lower cost per print — linked below.
Each pack includes one roll of 4x6 photo paper and one matched dye-sublimation ribbon, producing 50 prints.

Compatibility check before you order
This pack fits the HiTi S420 and S400 only. It is not compatible with the P510, P520L, P525L, P630A, P720L, P750L, or M610 — each of those uses a different media format. If your S420 or S400 has older firmware, a one-time firmware update from hiti.com may be required for the printer to recognize this current-generation, chip-free media — see the FAQ below.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between this and the 12-pack case?
This is a single pack (50 prints). The 12-pack case contains the same media in bulk (600 prints total) at a lower cost per print — better suited to regular or high-volume printing.
Is the HiTi S420 printer still available to buy new?
No. The S420 has been discontinued by HiTi. This pack is intended for operators who already own an S420 or S400. If you're shopping for a new compact ID/passport printer, the HiTi P322W is a current alternative.
Does this pack work with the S400 as well as the S420?
Yes. This media is compatible with both the S420 and its predecessor, the S400.
My printer isn't recognizing the ribbon — is this pack defective?
Probably not. Current-generation HiTi S-series media no longer uses a chip on the ribbon, which requires a one-time firmware update on older printers before they'll recognize it. Firmware updates are available at hiti.com's support and downloads page.
Is this genuine HiTi OEM media?
