Overview

The P750L replaced HiTi's discontinued P720L as the high-volume option in the lineup, built for locations where minimizing media changes matters more than portability: retail photo counters, amusement parks, cruise ship photo operations, and event companies running back-to-back bookings. It uses the same D2T2 dye-sublimation engine as HiTi's other printers, but with roll lengths roughly double those of the P520L/P525L line.

Like the P525L, the P750L uses RFID-tagged media, so the printer identifies paper type and roll size automatically without a manual media key change.

Connectivity and Software

The P750L connects via USB 2.0 for direct computer printing. An optional Wi-Fi/NFC dongle adds wireless printing from a computer, an NFC-enabled mobile device, or a memory card reader, all through HiTi's free Prinbiz app for iOS and Android.

Media and Ribbon Compatibility

The P750L uses genuine HiTi RFID media rolls in 4x6", 5x7", and 6x8" sizes, in glossy or matte finish. It does not share media with the P520L/P525L line — each printer family uses its own dedicated roll length and yield, so P750L media will not fit a P520L/P525L, and vice versa.

P750L vs. P525L: Which One Do You Need?

Both printers use HiTi's RFID media system and the same D2T2 print engine, but they're built for different jobs. The P525L is compact and portable — a strong fit for photo booths and mobile event setups. The P750L is heavier and stationary, with roughly double the roll capacity, making it the better choice for a fixed retail counter, kiosk, or high-traffic attraction where reducing media changes outweighs portability.

What replaced the HiTi P720L?

Does the P750L require special media, or can I use any dye-sub paper?
